Who We Are

Axiom Systems is one person based in Melbourne, Australia. There is no legal team, no PR department, and no committee that reviewed this document. It was written by the same person who built the software. We think that's a good thing.
2.

What You're Buying

When you purchase Xenegade OS you are buying a license to use the software. You are not buying the source code, you are not buying ownership of Axiom Systems, and you are not buying the right to redistribute it to your friends. Think of it like buying a book — you own your copy, you don't own the printing press. One-Time License — Pay once, use it forever. Your version is yours permanently. Future major versions may be separate purchases, but what you bought doesn't disappear. Monthly / Yearly Subscription — You get access for as long as you keep paying. Cancel anytime. We won't guilt-trip you about it.
3.

What You Can Do

  • Install it on your personal machine
  • Use it for personal and commercial work
  • Tell your friends about it
  • Complain about bugs via the contact form
4.

What You Cannot Do

On that last point — we are the oven, you are the cook. If you burn the pan and it spreads to your neighbour's house, that is not the oven's fault. Axiom Systems is not responsible for what you choose to cook.
  • Resell, redistribute, or repackage it as your own product
  • Reverse engineer it to copy it and ship a competitor
  • Use it to do illegal things
5.

The No-Fakes Commitment

This one goes both ways. We promise that every feature advertised is real and functional — no greyed-out buttons, no placeholder integrations, no vaporware. In return, we ask that you don't misrepresent what the software does when talking about it publicly. Don't tell people it does things it doesn't. We worked hard to make sure everything works — help us keep that reputation honest.
6.

Refunds

14-day refund policy. If Xenegade OS doesn't work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase via the contact form and we'll sort it out. No jumping through hoops, no lengthy back-and-forth. One specific guarantee: if any reputable antivirus or malware scanner detects a genuine security threat in Xenegade OS, you get an immediate full refund. No questions, no delay. What we can't refund: "I changed my mind", "my computer is too old", or "I didn't read what this was before buying." The product description is honest and detailed — please read it first.
7.

The Windows SmartScreen Thing

When you install Xenegade OS, Windows may show a security warning. This is because we are an independent publisher without a code signing certificate yet, not because the software is dangerous. We explain exactly how to get past it on the product page and in the installer itself. If this bothers you, please wait until we have full code signing in place — we're working on it.
8.

AI Routing and Third-Party Services

Xenegade OS routes requests to third-party AI providers — Gemini, GPT, and Claude. By using these features you are also subject to their respective terms of service. We are the switchboard, they are the phones. What you say into the phones is between you and them.Your API keys are stored locally on your machine via XenVault. We never see them, we never store them on our end, and we never transmit them anywhere except to the service you've chosen to connect.
9.

Privacy

Short version: we don't collect much and we don't sell anything.
  • No telemetry is transmitted from the application
  • No usage data is collected
  • Your credentials live locally on your machine
  • Your AI conversations go directly to the provider you chose — not through us

The only data we hold is what's necessary to process your purchase, which is handled by Whop. Their privacy policy covers that part.

10.

Bugs

The software will have bugs. We said so in the ad. We are committed to fixing them. If you find one, tell us via the contact form and we'll get to it. Reporting a bug does not automatically entitle you to a refund, but we appreciate every report — seriously, it helps.
11.

Updates

Subscribers get updates as they ship. That's what the subscription is for. One-time license holders get the version they purchased. Major future versions may require a new purchase. Minor updates and bug fixes within the same version are included.
12.

Liability

We are one person. We built something good and we stand behind it within reason. What we cannot do is be responsible for:
  • Your computer catching fire (physically or metaphorically)
  • Data loss caused by your own actions
  • Anything that happens because you used the software in a way it wasn't designed for
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or whatever is happening globally at the time

In legal terms: our liability is capped at what you paid us. In human terms: if something goes wrong we'll do our best to make it right within what's reasonable for a solo operation.

13.

Changes To These Terms

If we change something significant, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed. We won't bury a major policy change in legal language designed to be unread. If it affects you meaningfully, we'll say so plainly.
14.

Contact

Something wrong? Question about these terms? Use the contact form. Text only. We'll reply within 48 hours.
15.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If something ever needs to be resolved legally — which we hope never happens — that's where it would happen.

That's it. No hidden clauses, no surprise arbitration, no signing away your firstborn. Just a fair deal between a developer who built something real and a customer who bought it.
